Stolen vehicle A gray 4-door 2005 Mercury Grand Marquis with tags 4CB G33 was stolen over the weekend in the 1100 block of Somerset Court.
Burglary Someone broke into a liquor store in the 2000 block of Greenmount Ave. Friday night or early Saturday and stole 10 cartons of cigarettes, five stacks of scratch-off Maryland lottery tickets and $150.
Eastern Baltimore
Assault A male motorist and his female passenger were stopped in the 1200 block of N. Milton Ave. about 9 p.m. Saturday when a car driven by the man's wife pulled up. The two in the first car began to argue, and the man struck his female passenger in the face, damaging at least one tooth. Southern Baltimore
Assault A man, 28, was walking in the 1300 block of James St. about 5 a.m. Friday when another man struck him in the face and head with a bat. The victim sustained multiple injuries and was treated at Maryland Shock Trauma Center. No arrest had been made.Burglary Alcoholic beverages, cash and cigarettes, all valued at nearly $2,700, were stolen over the weekend from Jack's Liquor store in the 100 block of W. Hamburg St. by someone who entered through the front door.
Northern Baltimore
Robbery A woman, 51, was walking in the 5100 block of York Road about 11:40 a.m. Saturday when a man struck her in the face with his fist and removed $52 from her pockets.Home invasion/robbery A known male armed with a knife entered a home in the 2200 block of South Road on Saturday night and robbed a woman of $20 and her keys. Police were searching for a man who had raked leaves from her lawn.
Robbery A gunman entered the Magic Discount Corp. in the 2900 block of Greenmount Ave., about 6 p.m. Saturday, jumped over the counter and forced an employee to give him an undisclosed sum of money from a cash register. The gunman also stole two cell phones.
Southeastern Baltimore
Stolen vehicle A white 1995 Plymouth van with tags 212M922 was stolen over the weekend in the first block of N. Conkling St.Robbery Two teenage males, one armed with a handgun, robbed Family Snacks in the 3200 block of E. Baltimore St. of more than $100 about 10 p.m. Saturday.
Robberies/arrest A boy, 15, was arrested about 8:20 p.m. Saturday in the 600 block of S. Curley St. moments after he robbed a woman, 22, of her keys in the 3000 block of Fleet St. at gunpoint. An investigation led to the same youth being charged with robbing another woman, 25, of her car keys less than 30 minutes earlier in the 1100 block of S. Ellwood Ave. while pointing a handgun at her head. Because of his age, the youth was charged as a juvenile with two armed robberies and related offenses. The gun used in both robberies was not recovered.

Arson A car was parked in the 8200 block of Pulaski Highway about 11 p.m. Friday when someone set it on fire.Baltimore Co. – Essex
Kidnapping A warrant has been issued for the arrest of Keith Ross, 19, of the 700 block of Mansfield Road, charging him with assaulting and kidnapping his girlfriend, 28, Saturday night. Ross was seen driving a 2006 Pontiac with unknown tags.Baltimore Co. – Cockeysville
Arson Someone poured a flammable liquid onto the porch of a vacant house in the 14000 block of Sunnybrook Road about 1 a.m. Saturday and set it ablaze. Anyone with information is asked to call the precinct at 410-887-1820.Burglary A chain saw was stolen Friday from an unused ice house in the 1600 block of Glencoe Road.
Burglary/arrest A Carroll County man was arrested Thursday and charged with breaking into a house in the 1800 block of Dulaney Valley Road earlier that day and stealing two six-packs of beer and coins. Charged with burglary was Edward M. Kroener, 34, of Westminster.
Baltimore Co. – Franklin
Robbery try A man, 49, was nearing his car in the 10200 block of Reisterstown Road about 2 a.m. Saturday when two men, one armed with a handgun, demanded his money. When the victim said he had none, the gunman struck him in the face with the weapon. Both men escaped. The victim was treated at an area hospital and released.Burglary Someone entered an outside storage area of Wal Mart in the 9700 block of Reisterstown Road Friday and stole 22 used auto batteries. A surveillance cameras caught the thief driving off in a blue Chevrolet pickup truck.

Robbery A man, 28, was about to enter an apartment building in the 400 block of Cedar Run Place about 8:30 p.m. Saturday when two men robbed him of his cell phone valued at $100.Richard Irwin
